The Extremist

I may be something
of a nitpicker
but I hope not a nitwit

I do rail
whenever I see
a TV preacher driving
a Dusenberg

I grab a mop
and beat the life
out of helpless spiders

I may be a bit extreme
but let the high roller preachers
stay away from Cannes
and drive economy cars
use their gas in the pulpit
high octane for the Lord

I could go for that
write a small check
even sign it
