Vineyard Phantasy

I felt sorry for the boy
He was alone
and boarded somewhere

and used to pick grapes
with us
at old man Peroni's vineyard

He didn't mix much
with other workers
He would sing all day-one song:

"Some day
you're gonna miss me baby
some day
you're gonna feel so lonely"

Buster took him a drink of water
and the boy said
his name was Morgan

and he sang that song
because he wanted
to think a girl had thrown him out
when to tell the truth
he never had a girl to start with
