Reprimand at Rosewood Manor

July 2, 1995

The old rooster forgets
his true age
and struts
even though his spurs
are blunted
his crown drooping
He crows a bawdy mouthful

The manager takes him
aside firmly and reminds him
"this is a mixed crowd
see those women
go get
yourself a glass
of punch
and sit down
Please"
