Surprise

Nora is a pious girl
She has every right
to be fundamental
as they come

Mitch likes to tease her
I heard him ask
"Do you really believe
in angels?
Have you seen one today?"

That was when he and I
got a big surprise
Nora hit him across the mouth
so hard his lips began
to swell bluish
and she gathered up
her Bible and walked off
