We love Clifford alright, but we were sorry
that he showed up when our cousin Nora was
visiting. We knew his arrival meant only one thing. He brought all his George Bush paraphernalia with him, buttons, stickers, flyers, in
a large old briefcase. I knew that was a mistake. He should have left that stuff in his van
along with the giant Goldwater placards he
still saves. Clifford has no discretion.

Right off, sparks began to fly from Nora-she
came right to the point and said "I would like
to see every Bush-ite carried out of town on a
rail. They are a rich heartless group."

It was becoming very awkward in the living
room. As hostess, I said, "let us have some
dessert. Who wants regular coffee and who
wants decaf?"
